Jenisha KC back from UK after the shooting of Aadhi Bato

In the past, actress Jenisha KC got a lot of movie when actor Biraj Bhatt recommended her in the movies he did at the time. After he left the Nepali movie industry to make it big in Bhojpuri movies, the movies Jenisha got reduced in number. Although Jenisha doesn’t do as many movies, she has been travelling foreign countries to participate in various events.

Jenisha has recently returned back from the UK after the completion of the shooting of ‘Adhi Bato’ of NRN producer of Luxemburg, Ramesh Twayna.

Twayna was previously linked with Sumina Ghimire when they were together in Sumina’s foreign tours. Now, Jenisha is linked with the producer. After returning from the UK, Jenisha had told that the visit was one of the most memorable foreign visits.

The movie ‘Adhi Bato’ is directed by Sabir Shrestha and features Yash Kumar, Sabin Shrestha, Anu Shah, Dhiren Shakya, Ruby Rana and Jenisha KC.

Hema has recently completed the shooting of her upcoming movie ‘Hasiya’. The movie Hasiya also features hot item dance of the actress Hema Shrestha. Hema participated in Miss Nepal contest in 2005. Hema’s music video ‘Chiya Bari Ma…’ became very popular and established her in music video modeling. Hema says, the wait is over and she has found the role she had always wanted to do.

The offer to do ‘Hasiya’ came when she was doing a music video ‘Sayau Juni …’ of singers Jagadesh Samal and Rajina Rimal. The director of the video, Milan Chams told Hema about his upcoming movie. The movie ‘Hasiya’ features the lead actress in action and glamour role.

In the debut movie ‘Sourya’, Hema’s role is short. Hema says, the movie was a medium to understand the rules of big screen movies. After the completion of the shooting of the movie, Hema has realized that it is tough to do acting in movies. Action and acting proved to be much tougher than lip-singing in music videos.

Lost movies because of being married – Neeta Pokharel

Actress Neeta Pokharel has acted in three movies – ‘Flash Back‘, ‘Shoot’ and ‘Shisha’. She started acting some five years ago. But, she hasn’t been able to get more movies these days.

Talking to an online magazine, Neeta told that she was kicked out of agreement when the producers/directors know that she was married. She also told about the producers and directors trying to take advantage of her.

Neeta had a desire to become a successful actress since her childhood. She also took a 3-months-long acting course from actor Anup Baral. She has done modeling in some music videos including the videos of singers Uday Sotang, Kamal Chhetri and Gita Chaulagai. She has also done some advertisement.

Neeta hails from Sindhuli. After the completion of CMA education, she worked in Sindhuli District Hospital for two years. She left the job to pursue acting career in Kathmandu.

Neeta says, "I don’t think the viewers care about whether the actress is married or not. But, the producers and directors seek more than acting in actresses."

Neeta admitted of being thrown out of more than ten movies for being married and being unwilling to the undue demands of the film makers.

If the statement of Neeta is true, something should be done by the concerned bodies about the exploitation of actresses in the film industry.

I have experienced sex – Mahima Silwal's Bold Statement

In an interview with ‘Karporate’ actress Mahima Silwal has expressed the bold statement, she has experienced sex. Such a statement is considered rare in a traditional Nepali society by an unmarried actress. Currently busy in the shooting of her upcoming movie ‘Jhamela’, Mahima thinks film sector is like social work.

 If she were not an actress, she would probably be a nurse. In her body parts, she like her eyes and lips.

Although she regularly receives proposals, she is yet start an affair. Although she doesn’t have any steady relationship, Mahima admits that she is a modern girl and has experienced sex. To explain the experience, she says that she had an affair with a guy she was supposed get married. After she started acting, the relationship broke.
