Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has increased the load-shedding to 80 hours from 63 hours a week with effect from January 5, 2014 (21st Poush, 2070). As per the new schedule, electricity will be cut 3 days (12 hours per day) and 3 days (11 hours per day). Nepalese people will have to suffer lack of electricity for 11 and 12 hours everyday.
